About this Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT)
This 5-half day virtual instructor led training (VILT) course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding on the fundamentals of production engineering and production operations. It analyses the production components from reservoir to surface, the well, the completion equipment and the surface production facilities, as parts of integrated production systems, targeting optimal production.
The course reviews historical production practices and highlights current technological advances in the area of well completion and well production management. Topics include well completion and well configurations and well performance, well testing, artificial lift, 2-phase and 3-phase separation, emulsion and water treatment, and storage and transportation (pipeline). Participants will also learn maintenance, safety and environmental issues related to production.
