About this Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT)

This Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) course will guide participants on the key techniques and methods for safe and efficient abandonment of wells both on land and offshore. Since the techniques are applied to maintain long-term well integrity and have a lot in common with drilling and workover techniques, a basic understanding of well design, well integrity and drilling and repair of wells is required of course participants. Participants will learn the main aspects of well plugging and abandonment (P&A). P&A technologies, tools, techniques, methods and procedures are discussed and demonstrated, comprising:
