Reservoir engineering methods as practised in carbonate fields will be addressed in this Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT). Practical and actual carbonate reservoir problems and examples will be used to illustrate relevant subjects. Specific reservoir engineering problems related to the heterogeneity, fluid-rock interaction and the often fractured nature of carbonate rocks will be examined.
